Classic Mississippi Sin dip all rolled-up in a buttery roll? Nothing is better than that! Mississippi Sin Crescents are golden, flaky, and absolutely stuffed with a pork-filled, cheesy mixture that's savory, melty, and spicy all at once! Better yet, the rolls are glazed with a sweet and tangy mixture to really enhance all that delicious, meaty goodness. There's something heavenly about these Mississippi Sin Crescents!
Ingredients
- For the crescents:
- 1 pound ham, cooked and chopped
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 3/4 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 teaspoons hot sauce
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 (8-ounce) cans refrigerated crescent rolls
- For the glaze:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
- chives, optional, to taste, for garnish
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Step 2 -Lightly coat a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
Step 3 -Mix together the ham, the cream cheese, the cheddar, the Swiss, the onion powder, the green onions, the hot sauce, and 2 teaspoons of the Worcestershire sauce.
Step 4 -Separate the crescent rolls into 16 triangles, then cut each triangle in half for a total of 32 crescents.
Step 5 -Scoop a heaping tablespoon of the ham mixture on the wide end of each triangle.
Step 6 -Roll up the crescents and place them in the prepared baking dish.
Step 7 -In a small saucepan, combine the butter, the brown sugar, the Dijon mustard, the remaining Worcestershire, and the poppy seeds.
Step 8 -Bring the glaze mixture to a boil.
Step 9 -Pour the glaze mixture over the crescents.
Step 10 -Bake the crescents until golden-brown, about 25-30 minutes.
Step 11 -Serve garnished with the chives.
