Ingredients• 1 (9-inch) fold-out pie crust, thawed • 3 eggs • 3/4 cup sugar • 3/4 cup light corn syrup • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract • 1/4 teaspoon salt • 1 1/2 cups walnuts, finely chopped • 4 tablespoons butter, melted • whipped cream, optional, to taste, for serving
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Line a 9-inch pie pan with the unrolled crust, cutting off any overhang.
In a large bowl, beat the eggs with a hand mixer.
Add the sugar, corn syrup, vanilla, and salt gradually to the beaten eggs, mixing to combine.
Add the melted butter and mix until thoroughly combined.
