Classic Cherry Cobbler

Classic Cherry Cobbler is the perfect way to end a meal on a sweet note! This confection is easy to make and is unbelievably sweet and delicious. Fruity cherry pie filling is topped with perfect crispy and golden batter. • 1/2 cup butter • 1 cup all-purpose flour • 1 cup white sugar • 1 teaspoon baking powder • 1 cup milk • 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling


Step 1

Preheat the oven to 275 degrees F.

Step 2

Put the butter in a 9x13-inch oven-safe dish. Set the dish in the oven rack to melt.

Step 3

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and baking powder.

Step 4

Stir in the milk.

Step 5

Remove the baking dish from the oven when the butter is completely melted.

Step 6

Pour the flour mixture into the heated dish, being sure not to stir it.

Step 7

Add in the cherry pie filling evenly in the pan, again not stirring.

Step 8

Raise the oven temperature to 350 degrees F.

Step 9

Bake the cherry cobbler until the cobbler is golden brown, about 50-60 minutes. Serve warm!
