How can you elevate an affordable cut of beef like cube steak into something that might appear on a steakhouse plate? Answer: you fry it to golden-brown buttery perfection! Wrangler Round Steak takes tenderized cube steak and quickly cooks it to a juicy medium rare with a crispy, seasoned jacket. This steak cooks so quickly you need less than 20 minutes to get dinner hot and ready!

• 1/2 cup canola oil, plus more if needed • 1 cup all-purpose flour • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt • 3 teaspoons ground black pepper, or to taste • 3 pounds cube steaks • salt, to taste • 2 tablespoons butter

Step 1

Using a large skillet over medium heat, heat the oil.

Step 2

In a medium-sized bowl, combine the seasoned salt, flour, and pepper. Set aside.

Step 3

Season both sides of the steak with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 4

Dredge each piece of steak in the flour mixture, pressing down to generously coat the meat.

Step 5

Add the butter into the skillet immediately before frying.

Step 6

Once the butter melts, fry the steak pieces in the butter/oil mixture.

Step 7

Once the bottoms are a deep golden brown, flip and cook on the other side for about 1 minute.

Step 8

Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.

Step 9

Serve immediately.
