• 1 pound pasta, cavatappi, shells, or elbow • 1/4 cup unsalted butter • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour • 1 cup milk • 2 cup heavy cream • 1 teaspoon kosher salt • 1 teaspoon dry mustard • 1 teaspoon black pepper • 2 cup white cheddar, shredded


Step 1

Cook the pasta according to package directions while making the sauce.

Step 2

Drain the pasta and set aside until ready to use.

In a large pot on medium-high heat on the stove-top, melt the butter.
