Ingredients• 1 (9-inch) frozen pie shell For the filling: • 1 cup leftover stuffing, crumbled • 1 cup leftover turkey, chopped • 1 cup sharp cheddar, shredded • 1/4 cup parsley leaves, roughly chopped • kosher salt, to taste • ground black pepper, to taste For the custard: • 1 1/4 cups half-and-half • 3 large eggs • 1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg • kosher salt, to taste • ground black pepper, to taste
Pre-bake the crust, following the package instructions. Then set aside to cool slightly before filling.
Adjust the oven temperature to 350 degrees F.
Sprinkle the stuffing and turkey into the pre-baked pie shell.
Top with the cheddar and parsley, and season with salt and pepper.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the half-and-half, eggs, nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
Pour the custard mix over the filling.
Bake the custard until set, about 35-40 minutes.
