Tangy Pork Chops

• 1/4 cup honey • 2 tablespoons prepared yellow mustard • 1 tablespoon butter • 1 1/2 pounds pork chops, center-cut, boneless, and 1/2-inch-thick • garlic powder, to taste


Step 1

Mix the honey and mustard in a bowl until thoroughly combined. Set aside.

Step 2

Heat the butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 3

Lay the pork chops in the hot butter.

Step 4

Sprinkle the chops with half of the garlic powder and sauté until browned, about 3 minutes.

Step 5

Flip the chops and sprinkle them with the remaining garlic powder.

Step 6

Sauté for 3 more minutes.

Step 7

Brush the honey mustard sauce over the chops and flip them.

Step 8

Cook for 5 minutes.

Step 9

Brush the honey mustard on the top of the chops and flip them again.

Step 10

Cook until a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the chops reads 145 degrees F, about 5 minutes.

Step 11

Serve hot.
