The Rise and Grind Smoothie gets you ready to... well, to rise and grind: it's essentially a coffee smoothie with creamy peanut butter, sweet banana, and empowering protein powder to keep you going no matter what the day throws at you! It only takes 5 minutes to make and all you need is a blender, so you can make a Rise and Grind Smoothie while running out the door, content with the knowledge you're getting your caffeine boost and breakfast in every sip!


Ingredients

• 3/4 cup brewed coffee, cooled in the fridge • 1 medium ripe banana, frozen • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract • 1 tablespoon natural peanut butter or nut butter of your choice • 1/2 cup ice • 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut or almond milk, plus more as needed • 1/2 tablespoon cacao powder or unsweetened cocoa powder • 1 serving of protein powder, of your choice

Directions

Step 1

In a large, high-powered blender, add all of the ingredients.

Step 2

Blend on high until everything is well combined, about 1-2 minutes.

Step 3

Add more milk as needed.

Step 4

Serve.
