These burgers are delicious and reminiscent of a summer day spent at Pop’s lake house. After a day in the sun or in the water, there’s no better taste than a juicy grilled burger on a toasted bun! Serve with your favorite chips or veggies for a perfect and satisfying meal.
Ingredients• 1 1/2 pounds ground chuck • 3 tablespoons tamari soy sauce • 1 teaspoon salt • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper • 1/2 teaspoon fresh squeezed lemon juice • butter • bun • assorted toppings, for serving (cheese, mushrooms, onions, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, mustard, mayo, ketchup—whatever you desire!)
Add the beef, soy sauce, salt, ground pepper, and lemon juice to a bowl. Mix thoroughly until the mixture has soaked into the meat.
Form 4 patties and season with additional salt and pepper, if desired.
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Once hot, grill the burgers on both sides until they are cooked to your desired doneness.
Butter the insides of the buns and lightly toast just before you are ready to serve the burgers.
Assemble burgers with a patty and your desired toppings!
