Ingredients• 4 (4-ounce) tilapia fillets • 1/2 teaspoon salt • 1/4 teaspoon pepper • 1 tablespoon olive oil • 1/4 cup butter, cubed • 1/4 cup white wine or chicken broth • 2 tablespoons lemon juice • 1/4 cup almonds, sliced
Sprinkle the fillets with salt and pepper.
In a large nonstick skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
Add the fillets and cook until the fish begins to just flake easily with a fork and are cooked to 145 degrees F internally, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Transfer the fillets to a plate and keep warm.
Add the butter, wine, and lemon juice to the skillet.
Cook and stir until the butter is melted.
Serve the fish with the sauce, sprinkled with almonds.
