With a name like that, how can you say no?! This creamy, juicy, full-of-flavor chicken is the perfect go-to recipe to whip up for your special someone for a cozy date night in.

• 3 large boneless and skinless chicken breasts, cut into cutlets • 1/2 teaspoon salt • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper • 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour • 2 tablespoons olive oil • 2 tablespoons butter • 3 cloves garlic, crushed • 1 cup chicken stock • 1 cup heavy cream • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated • 1 teaspoon chili flakes • 1/4 teaspoon oregano • 1/4 teaspoon thyme • 1/3 cup sundried tomatoes, chopped • 1 tablespoon fresh basil leaves

Step 1

First, season the chicken generously with salt and pepper. Then, submerge in flour and shake off any excess.

Step 2

Heat the olive oil and melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 3

Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until you have a nice golden brown color on each side, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove to a plate and cover with foil.

Step 4

Add the garlic to the same skillet and saute until fragrant. Add the chicken stock, scraping any brown bits that got stuck to the bottom of the pan with a wooden spoon.

Step 5

Turn the heat down to medium-low and add the heavy cream, followed by the parmesan, to the skillet. Allow the sauce to simmer for a few minutes. Then, add the chili flakes, thyme, and oregano. Add more salt and pepper, to taste. Return the chicken to the skillet with the sauce and simmer for a few more minutes, until the sauce has thickened.

Step 6

Garnish with chopped basil and serve over pasta or rice!
