Have you ever had a bite of salsa and thought “I just think it needs something.” Perhaps what that salsa needed was a note of refreshment, floral sweetness and tanginess that can only come from golden fruit. Mango Salsa provides that burst of sunshine, nestled within the savory vegetables tastes and the heat of traditional salsa. Mango Salsa is a colorful and flavorful sauce perfect for slathering over steaks, chicken, and pork or just enjoying with tortilla chips. Now all you’ll be thinking is “this is so much better!”

• 3 ripe mangos, diced • 1 medium red bell pepper, chopped • 1/2 cup red onion, chopped • 1/4 cup packed fresh cilantro leaves, chopped • 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced • 1 large lime, juiced • 1/8 teaspoon salt, plus more to taste

Step 1

In the same bowl you intend to serve the salsa in, combine the mango, bell pepper, onion, cilantro, and jalapeno.

Step 2

Squeeze the lime juice overtop.

Step 3

Season with salt and stir well, being careful not to crush the mango.

Step 4

Allow the salsa to rest for about 10 minutes before serving for maximum flavor.
