Loaded Potato Casserole

Needing a casserole to feed mouths at a potluck? This Loaded Potato Casserole has everything you need for the best comfort meal—guaranteed to have people coming back for seconds and thirds.


• 1 (32-ounce) package frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed • 1 (16-ounce) container sour cream • 8 slices cooked bacon, crumbled • 1 (1-ounce) package ranch dressing mix • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese, divided, or more to taste


Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare a baking pan with cooking spray or butter.

Step 2

Combine together hash browns, sour cream, bacon, ranch mix, and 1 cup of cheese in a large bowl. Stir well. Spread onto the baking pan and cover with foil.

Step 3

Bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and sprinkle the rest of the cheese over the potatoes. Bake until the cheese bubbles, or for about 15 minutes.
