Ingredients• 4 pork chops, bone-in or out • salt, to taste • pepper, to taste • 1 teaspoon garlic powder • 2 tablespoons olive oil • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter • 6 cloves garlic, minced • 1/4 cup honey • 1/4 cup chicken broth • 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar or any white vinegar • parsley, optional, for garnish
Preheat the oven broiler or grill on medium-high heat.
Season the pork chops with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Heat the oil in an oven-safe pan or skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Sear the chops until golden and cooked through at 145 degrees F, about 4-5 minutes per side.
Transfer the chops to a plate and set them aside.
Reduce the heat to medium.
Melt the butter in the same skillet, scraping up any browned bits on the bottom.
Sauté the garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
Add the honey, broth, and vinegar.
Increase the heat to medium-high and continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until the sauce reduces down and thickens slightly, for about 3-4 minutes.
Add the pork back into the pan and baste them generously with the sauce.
Broil or grill the pork until the edges are slightly charred, about 1-2 minutes.
Garnish with parsley and serve!
