Hot Fudge Sundae Bars sound like a delicious idea from start to finish, from the chocolatey hot fudge infused with peanut butter to the layer of your favorite ice cream sandwiches to the crunchy peanuts and fluffy whipped topping! Hot Fudge Sundae Bars take ice cream parties to new places by making sure every bite contains all of your favorite toppings, all at the same time!


• 1 (16-ounce) can of chocolate syrup • 3/4 cup peanut butter • 19 ice cream sandwiches, of your choice • 1 (12-ounce) container of frozen whipped topping, thawed • 1 cup salted peanuts


Step 1

Pour the chocolate syrup into a medium microwave-safe bowl and microwave, stopping to stir every 30 seconds, until hot, about 2 minutes on high. Do not allow it to boil.

Step 2

Stir the peanut butter into the warmed chocolate until smooth.

Step 3

Allow the chocolate/peanut butter mixture to cool to room temperature.

Step 4

Line the bottom of a 9x13-inch dish with a layer of ice cream sandwiches.

Step 5

Spread 1/2 of the whipped topping over the sandwiches in an even layer.

Step 6

Spoon 1/2 of the chocolate mixture over the whipped topping layer, spreading it into an even layer.

Step 7

Top the whipped topping layer with 1/2 of the peanuts.

Step 8

Repeat the layers once.

Step 9

Freeze the layered mixture until firm, for at least 1 hour and up to overnight.

Step 10

Cut the frozen layered mixture into squares.
