Homemade Strawberry Ice Cream is fresher, creamier, and fruitier than anything you can find at the grocery store. It’s also amazingly easy to whip up, so in just a few hours you’ll taste the most amazing ice cream of your life perfect for celebrating a hot summer day! Homemade Strawberry Ice Cream is infused with fresh strawberries with a citrus infusion to make it extra irresistible. Make sure you have your favorite ice cream toppings to serve alongside it.

• 1 1/2 cups strawberries, diced • 2 tablespoons honey • 1/2 cup granulated sugar • 1 teaspoon lemon juice • 1 cup heavy whipping cream • 1/2 cup half and half • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Step 1

Mix the diced strawberries, honey, sugar, and lemon juice in a large bowl.

Step 2

Allow the mixture to sit for 20 minutes, during which the strawberries will release their juices in the mixture.

Step 3

Use a masher or fork to mash the mixture until strawberry pieces are broken up. A few larger pieces are fine.

Step 4

Add the heavy whipping cream, half and half, and vanilla extract to the mixture until just combined.

Step 5

Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker, and follow the instructions on your machine.

Step 6

Serve once churned or allow the ice cream to freeze for a few hours to thicken.
