Halloween Mummy Dogs are basically pigs in a blanket that have grown to full size: a juicy hot dog wrapped in buttery pastry, which everyone enjoys. With fun goofy mayo eyes, Halloween Mummy Dogs won’t scare you unless you’re scared by tasty treats! It’s an easy-to-make and festive twist on the classic hotdog.
Ingredients
• 1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated crescent rolls • 8 hot dogs • mayonnaise, to taste, for the eyes • poppy seeds, to taste, for the eyes For the optional dips: • mustard, to taste • ketchup, to tasteDirections
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Step 2
Carefully open the crescent roll package.
Step 3
Use 1 dough strip for each hot dog wrapping them to look like mummies. Be sure to leave an opening for the eyes.
Step 4
Place the Mummy Dogs on an ungreased baking sheet.
Step 5
Bake until light golden brown, about 12-15 minutes.

Transfer the Mummy Dogs from the oven and let cool slightly.

Place dots of the mayonnaise and poppy seeds for the eyes.
