• 3 cups chicken broth • 1 tablespoon cornstarch • 2 tablespoons water, cold • 1 large egg, lightly beaten • 1 green onion, sliced


Step 1

In a large saucepan, bring the broth to a boil over medium heat.

Step 2

Combine the cornstarch and water until a smooth slurry forms.

Step 3

Gradually stir the slurry into the broth.

Step 4

Bring the broth mixture to a boil.

Step 5

Cook and stir until thickened, about 2 minutes.

Reduce the heat to low.
