Ingredients• 4 (12 ounces) salmon steaks • kosher salt, to taste • ground black pepper, to taste • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil • 2 tablespoons butter • 2 cloves garlic, minced • 1 lemon, juiced • 2 tablespoons honey • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes, crushed • rosemary, to taste, chopped, for serving
Season the salmon on both sides with salt and pepper.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the oil and butter.
Add the salmon and cook it until the bottom is golden, about 5 minutes.
Flip the salmon.
Add the garlic, lemon juice, honey, and red pepper flakes.
Cook until the salmon is cooked through at 145 degrees F, spooning the sauce over the salmon as it cooks, about 5 minutes.
Remove the salmon from the pan and garnish it with the rosemary before serving.
