Ingredients• 1 refrigerated pie crust • 8 large eggs • 1 cup milk or cream • 3/4 teaspoon salt • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper • 1 cup ham, cooked and chopped • 1 1/2 cups cheese, of your choice, shredded, and divided • 3 tablespoons green onions, sliced
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Unroll the pie crust and press it into a 9-inch pie plate. Make sure to crimp the top of the edges.
Optionally, you can bake the pie crust for 15 minutes for a crispier bottom.
In a large mixing bowl, combine together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper using a whisk.
Add the ham, 1 cup of the cheese, and the green onions into the pie crust.
Pour the egg mixture over the top of the other ingredients in the pie crust.
Sprinkle the top of the egg mixture with the remaining cheese.
Bake the quiche until the crust is a light golden brown, about 25 minutes.
Cover the dish with aluminum foil to prevent any unwanted added browning.
Bake until the center of the quiche is completely cooked, about 10-15 minutes.
Let the dish cool for about 5-10 minutes.
Slice and serve!
