• 4 chicken thighs, bone-in, skin-on • salt, to taste • pepper, to taste • 1-2 tablespoons olive oil • 5-6 cloves garlic, peeled • 1 tablespoon butter • juice of 1/2 lemon • 1 1/2 tablespoons honey • 1-2 tablespoons fresh parsley, stems removed and chopped


Step 1

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.

Step 2

Pat the chicken thighs dry.

Step 3

Season the chicken with salt and pepper on both sides.

Step 4

Drizzle the olive oil on the skin side of the chicken.

Step 5

Over medium heat on the stove-top, heat a cast-iron skillet or oven-safe pan.

Add the chicken skin-side down and cook until very browned and crispy, about 10-15 minutes. Make sure that the fat touches the skillet during the cooking.
