Ingredients• 1 (10.75-ounce) can of condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted • 1 tablespoon prepared mustard • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce • 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish • 1 large egg • 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped • 1/2 teaspoon salt • pepper, to taste • 1 1/2 pounds of ground beef • 1 tablespoon canola oil, plus more to taste • 1/2 cup water • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
In a small bowl, combine the soup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and horseradish.
In a separate bowl, lightly beat the egg.
Add the breadcrumbs, onion, salt, pepper, and 1/4 cup of the soup mixture to the beaten egg.
Crumble the beef into the mixture and mix well.
Shape the mixture into six patties.
In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat.
Place the patties in the hot oil and brown on both sides.
Drain the fat from the skillet.
Combine the remaining soup mixture with the water, and pour it over the patties.
Cover and cook over low heat until the meat is no longer pink and a thermometer reads 160 degrees F in the center of each patty, about 10-15 minutes.
Transfer the patties to a plate.
Serve with the sauce and parsley.
