Ingredients• 1 cup dry white wine • 1/2 pound Swiss cheese, shredded • 1/2 pound Gruyere cheese, shredded • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour • 1/4 teaspoon salt • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg • 1 pound French bread, cut into 1-inch cubes • preferred meats, optional, to taste, for dipping
Simmer the wine in the pot that you will be using for the fondue.
Add in the Swiss cheese and Gruyere cheese, adding 1/4 pound at a time and stirring after each addition of the cheese until it is completely melted.
Stir in the flour.
When the cheese is melted and the flour is incorporated, add in the salt and nutmeg.
Serve the fondue with the French bread and preferred meats.
