Chicken Divan makes for a delicious meal—it’s hearty, rich, and savory—and can be made in a flash!
Ingredients• 1 1/2 pounds fresh broccoli, cut into bite-sized pieces • 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded and divided • 1/2 cup milk • 2/3 cup sour cream • 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed Cream of Mushroom or Cream of Chicken soup • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard • 1/2 teaspoon pepper • 1/4 teaspoon salt • 3 cups chicken, cooked and cubed • 3 tablespoons panko bread crumbs • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Place the broccoli in a large pot of boiling water, and cook until just tender but still crisp on the outside, about 2-3 minutes. Make sure to drain the broccoli well.
Using a medium mixing bowl, add together the milk, 1 cup of the cheddar cheese, the sour cream, the condensed soup, garlic powder, onion powder, dry mustard, pepper, and salt.
Stir the broccoli and chicken into the soup mixture.
Spread the mixture into a 9x13-inch pan.
Sprinkle the top with the remaining cheese and the panko bread crumbs.
Bake the dish until the bread crumbs are lightly browned and the cheese is bubbly, about 18-20 minutes.
Serve over rice, noodles, or even mashed potatoes.
