Cheesy Sausage Pasta is almost self-explanatory in how delicious it tastes—but we thought a few more descriptive words might help entice you even further. The pasta is tender and coated inside and out with a melty, creamy cheese sauce with notes of sharpness and smokiness. Then we add herbaceous and savory sausage to the mix for extra heartiness! And it comes together in just 30 minutes! How can anyone say no to Cheesy Sausage Pasta? It just might not be possible!

• 1/2 pound Italian sausage links • 1 onion, finely diced • 2 cups milk • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth, plus more as needed • 1 1/2 cups uncooked penne • 1 tablespoon cornstarch • 1 teaspoon garlic powder • 1 teaspoon sugar • 1 teaspoon paprika • 1 teaspoon pepper • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded • 1/2 cup Gruyere cheese, shredded • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, shredded • salt, to taste • pepper, to taste

Step 4
