Ingredients• 16 ounces kielbasa sausage, sliced into even circles • 1 tablespoon onion powder • 2 cups canned chicken broth • 8 ounces rigatoni pasta • 1/2 cup milk • salt, to taste • pepper, to taste • 1 1/2 cups Colby Jack cheese, shredded and divided
In a large greased skillet over medium-high heat, cook the kielbasa and onion powder until the sausage is lightly browned, about 3 minutes.
Add the chicken broth and pasta to the skillet, stirring to combine.
Bring the mixture to a boil and reduce the heat to medium.
Transfer 2 tablespoons of the warm chicken broth and slowly whisk it into a bowl with the milk.
