Deviled eggs, as the name implies, are perhaps the most decadent egg dish in the known universe. How can you add to the indulgence of the creamy, rich, tangy filling of a deviled egg? The answer, as it so often is, is cheese. Cheesy Deviled Eggs adds sharp cheddar to the zesty yolk center, making these eggs even more irresistible than normal. Cheesy Deviled Eggs can be made in a flash, which is good because they tend to disappear just as quickly!

• 6 eggs, hardboiled • 1/4 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated • 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish • 1 tablespoon onions, grated • 5 tablespoons mayonnaise • 2 tablespoons mustard • paprika, optional, to taste • parsley, optional, to taste, for garnish • pepper, optional, to taste, for garnish

Step 1

Cut the hardboiled eggs in half lengthwise.

Step 2

Scoop out the yolks into a medium mixing bowl.

Step 3

Add the cheese, relish, onion, mayonnaise, and mustard, mixing well until a creamy filling forms.

Step 4

Fill the hollowed egg halves with the filling mixture.

Step 5

Sprinkle with the paprika.

Step 6

Garnish with the parsley and pepper and serve.
