• 1 (7 ounce) package elbow macaroni • 1 pound ground beef • 1 medium onion, chopped • 1 (15 ounce) can Italian tomato sauce • 1 large egg • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted • 1 1/2 cups 2% milk • 2 tablespoons butter, melted • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, minced • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shreddedDirections
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Cook the macaroni according to package directions.
In a large skillet, cook the beef and onion over medium heat until the meat is no longer pink, about 6-8 minutes.
Drain the skillet of excess fat.
Stir in the tomato sauce and heat through.
Drain the cooked macaroni.
Transfer the macaroni to the prepared baking dish.
In a small bowl, combine the egg, chicken soup, milk, butter, and parsley.
Pour the egg mixture over the macaroni.
Spoon the beef mixture over the top of the macaroni.
Sprinkle the casserole with the cheddar cheese.
Bake, uncovered, until bubbly, about 25-30 minutes.
Let the casserole stand for 10 minutes before serving.
