For the croutons: • 2-3 cups hearty bread such as baguette, torn into bite-sized pieces • 3 tablespoons olive oil • ½ teaspoon garlic powder • ¼ teaspoon salt or to taste For the salad: • 1 head romaine lettuce cut into bite-sized pieces • ⅓ cup Parmesan cheese fresh, shaved • ½ cup Caesar salad dressing

Step 1

Set your oven to 350 degrees F (or 176 degrees C).

Step 2

Put your croutons onto a baking tray. Sprinkle with olive oil, then add the garlic powder and salt. Mix it well to evenly coat all of the bread.

Step 3

Then, bake the dish for 15 to 20 minutes or until it is golden brown and crispy. Mix the bread once or twice while they bake to make sure that the bread does not burn. Let the croutons cool down.

Step 4

At the same time, add together the lettuce into a large mixing bowl with the salad dressing. Mix it to coat the lettuce evenly with the salad dressing.
