Breakfast Roll-Ups

Who says breakfast needs to stop being fun after you're done being a kid? These Breakfast Roll-Ups have all the flavor of an elevated adult breakfast, with crispy bacon wrapped around beautifully seasoned eggs and bread. But the best thing about them is that they are rolled up into bite-sized morsels of deliciousness. Breakfast Roll-Ups encourage you to pop one into your mouth and pop back into your childhood memories of quirky and fun mornings!


• 1/3 cup onion, finely chopped • 1 tablespoon butter • 3 cups bread, day-old, cubed, with crusts removed • 1/4 teaspoon celery salt • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder • 1/8 teaspoon salt • 1/8 teaspoon pepper • 1 large egg, lightly beaten • 10 strips bacon


Step 1

In a small skillet, sauté the onion in the butter over medium heat until tender, about 5 minutes.

Step 2

In a large bowl, combine the bread cubes, celery salt, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and sautéed onion, tossing to mix evenly.

Step 3

Add the egg, tossing to coat the bread cubes.

Step 4

Roll the mixture into ten 1-1/4-inch balls.

Step 5

Wrap a bacon strip around each ball, securing them with a toothpick.

Step 6

In a large skillet, cook the bacon roll-ups on all sides over medium heat until the bacon is crisp and a thermometer inserted into the stuffing reads at least 160 degrees F, about 18 minutes.

Step 7

Drain on paper towels.

Step 8

Serve warm!
