Pizza for breakfast?! Yes, please! But not the cold kind you threw in the fridge after dinner last night. Instead, try this amazing Breakfast Pizza! This delicious pizza has a crispy crust, packed with juicy sausage and flavorful vegetables, topped to cheesy perfection! Make any weekday or slow Sunday morning a bit more fun with this unique start to your day!

• 1 can prepared pizza crust or homemade pizza dough • 2 tablespoons olive oil • 6 eggs • 3 tablespoons milk • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil • salt & pepper, to taste • 1/2 pound sausage, cooked and drained • 1/4 cup cooked bacon or bacon bits • 3 green onions, sliced and divided • 1/4 cup red bell pepper, finely chopped • 8 ounces pepper jack cheese, shredded • 2 ounces extra-sharp cheddar cheese, shredded • parsley, for garnishing

Step 1

To begin, preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.

Step 2

Grease a 10x15-inch (rimmed) pan using 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Press the dough into the pan and brush with the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil.

Step 3

Then drizzle the dough with basil. Bake until lightly browned, about 7-8 minutes.

Step 4

While the dough is baking, grab a mixing bowl and whisk the milk, eggs, salt, and pepper together.

Step 5

Pour the mixture into a lightly oiled skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes over medium heat, just until set. The eggs should be undercooked and shiny.

Step 6

Drizzle the pizza with sausage, bacon bits (or chopped bacon), green onions, bell peppers, and the egg mixture. Then, sprinkle the cheeses on top.

Step 7

Bake until the cheese is melted, for 8-10 minutes.

Step 8

Remove from the oven, then sprinkle with parsley. Allow it to rest for 2-3 minutes before serving.

Step 9

Grab a cup of fresh-squeezed orange juice and enjoy a delightful breakfast!
