• 1 cup dried Italian breadcrumbs, plus more as needed • salt, to taste • pepper, to taste • creole seasoning, to taste • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese • 2 tilapia fillets • 1/2 cup butter, melted, plus more as needed • 1 lemons, juiced, plus more as needed


Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2

Grease a baking dish large enough to hold all the filets without overlap.

Step 3

Mix the breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, creole seasoning, and parmesan cheese on a plate.

Step 4

Dip the tilapia filets in the melted butter.

Step 5

Dredge the butter-coated filets in the bread crumb mixture.

Step 6

Place the bread crumb coated filet in the prepared baking dish

Pour any leftover melted butter over the filets.

Drizzle the filets with the lemon juice.

Cover the baking dish with foil.

Bake until the fish flakes easily when scraped with a fork, about 20 minutes.
