Ingredients• cornmeal, for dusting • 1 pound pizza dough • 1 cup rotisserie chicken, diced • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce, divided • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded • 1/3 cup red onions, thinly sliced • chopped cilantro, optional, for garnish
Prepare a baking sheet and liberally sprinkle it with cornmeal.
Roll the pizza dough out relatively flat.
Transfer the rolled dough to the prepared baking sheet.
In a medium bowl, combine the chicken and 1/2 of the barbecue sauce.
Spread the remaining barbecue sauce directly onto the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
Sprinkle the cheese on top of the barbecue sauce.
Add the coated chicken on top of the cheese.
Scatter the red onions on the top of the pizza.
Put the pizza into the oven until the crust is fully baked and golden brown, about 10-12 minutes. For best results, rotate the pizza halfway through to ensure even cooking.
Sprinkle the pizza with chopped cilantro and serve warm!
