If you think nothing healthy can taste good, 15-Minute Grilled Salmon can (and will) prove you wrong. In less time than it takes to watch an episode of your favorite sitcom, you can tender, fatty slices of salmon steaming hot on the table. 15-Minute Grilled Salmon has a beautiful grilled flavor complemented by fresh herbs and spices for an exciting and refreshing main course. You’ll be amazed that something this decadent is completely guilt-free!

• 1/4 cup garlic powder • 1/4 cup kosher salt • 1/4 cup dried parsley • 1/4 cup dried onion, minced • 1/4 cup dried basil • 1 1/2 pounds salmon filet, cut into 4 pieces • 4 tablespoons olive oil, for coating, plus more as needed

Step 1

Mix the garlic powder, salt, parsley, onion, and basil together and store in an airtight container for up to 4 months. This savory mix can be used on other fish and seafood dishes.

Step 2

Rub each piece of the salmon with the olive oil and sprinkle liberally with seasoning to taste. About 1/4 teaspoon of seasoning and 1 teaspoon of oil per piece of salmon should do.

Step 3

Heat a coal grill, gas grill, or grill pan to medium heat.

Step 4

Place the salmon on the grill, skin side up. Cover and grill over medium heat for about 2.5 minutes per side, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

Step 5

Serve hot!
